CLEARFIELD – A new deputy district attorney has been hired and sworn in to serve Clearfield County.

On Thursday, District Attorney Ryan Sayers reported that Tami Fees is now a deputy DA, and she will handle a variety of cases, but will have a special focus on child abuse and sexual-related crimes.

Fees is a Clearfield County native, and she passed the bar in 2005.

She has experience working as a conflict defense attorney for Centre, Mifflin, Huntingdon and Clearfield counties.

Following her swearing-in by Clearfield County President Judge Frederic Ammerman, Fees said she is, “looking forward to this new opportunity, to working with law enforcement to help the people of Clearfield County, and being part of the team in the District Attorney’s Office.”
