Clearfield – The newly-formed Clearfield Regional Police Commission continues its preparations to begin operation in January.

At a Wednesday night meeting, Assistant Chief Julie Curry reported that she and Chief Vincent McGinnis have completed the interviews of those who will be recommended for the sergeant positions within the new police force.

Their recommendations will be considered and voted on at an upcoming meeting.

As the Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township police forces get ready to consolidate, an informational open house and meeting has been planned for Wednesday, October 26th at Lock Haven’s Clearfield campus.

All Clearfield and Lawrence Township residents are encouraged to attend.
