BROCKWAY – New traffic pattern signals in Brockway will be implemented Wednesday, we tell you how this may affect your commute.
According to PennDOT, the new traffic signals, where Route 219 and Route 28 meet, will be installed Wednesday September 18th introducing a new traffic pattern for the area.
If implemented correctly, Evergreen Street at Route 219 will be permanently closed, while a new James Street intersection will be promptly opened.
Once completed, crews will begin milling and paving the closed intersection. This will also be in conjunction to their current plans of sidewalk reconstruction, utility relocations, updated traffic signals, and drainage updates.
Crews expect all road work to be completed by late October.
