Clarion, PA – Multiple people were injured in a crash on State Route 66 in Clarion last week.

36-year-old Brandon Franklin from Shippenville had been driving in Clarion last Monday when he lost control on a curve, exited the roadway, and struck a utility pole.

Franklin refused transport for his suspected minor injuries.

His passenger, 26-year-old Caitlynn Bowser from Shippenville, had serious injuries and was taken to Clarion Hospital. She had not been wearing a seat belt.

Two children were also in the vehicle and had possible injuries. Police do not give details on the ages of the children, only that one had been in a rear-facing car seat and the other in a front-facing car seat.

Franklin also faces charges for driving while his license was revoked or suspended.
