PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Mt. Union man is behind bars after allegedly going to Punxsutawney to meet who he thought was a 15 year-old girl for sex.
According to police, 49 year-old Michael Bollinger was in contact with the group 814 Pred Hunters disguised as a 15 year-old girl since May 29th.
Messages given to authorities allegedly show Bollinger having sexual conversations with the decoy even though she was underage.
On June 23rd he allegedly pressured the decoy to have him come meet her for sex. He then allegedly traveled to Punxsutawney where he was met by police.
He was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces felony sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and corruption of minors charges.
