
Pine Township, PA – A motorcyclist who was struck by a tractor-trailer over the weekend surprisingly came out of the incident with only minor injuries.
On Saturday around 1:20 p.m., Clearfield County emergency crews were called out to State Park Road near S.B. Elliot State Park in Pine Township for a reported accident involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer.
According to the Clearfield/Centre County Fire Wire, a medical helicopter was quickly put on standby, as these types of accidents typically have serious injuries.
However, when crews responded, they found that the unnamed motorcyclist only had minor injuries and the helicopter was able to stand down.
Police have not released an official accident report yet.
The motorcyclist and tractor-trailer driver remain unnamed for now, and there are no details on how exactly the crash happened.
