
McCalmont Township, PA – Police are now releasing the name of the man who was fatally injured last weekend when his motorcycle ran into a utility pole in Jefferson County.
23-year-old Michael Schrecengost Jr. from Dayton had been riding his Kawasaki ZX636-C along Panic Knoxdale Road in McCalmont Township around 5:50 p.m. last Saturday, Nov. 21.
For unknow reasons, he had to apply his brakes, leaving nearly 100 feet of skid marks before losing control, exiting the roadway, going through a small grassy field, and striking a utility pole.
Schrecengost was taken via LifeFlight for severe injuries, but he unfortunately passed away while being flown to the hospital.
There is no word yet on the funeral arrangements.
