RIDGWAY — The collision of a motorcycle into the rear of a car near Ridgway Saturday resulted in the death of a 79-year-old New York man.
State Police report that David Curran of West Falls, New York drove his Harley-Davidson into the rear of a car that was stopped and waiting to make a turn off of Route 219, Boot Jack Road. P
olice say the crash caused Curran to be thrown from the motorcycle.
The Elk County Coroner pronounced Curran dead at the scene of the wreck.
No other injuries were reported.
