More than $2,800 worth of items stolen from Jefferson County residence

WASHINGTON TWP. – More than $2,800 worth of various items were reportedly stolen from a Jefferson County man’s residence.

According to a State Police report, someone burglarized the house on Horm Run Road in Washington Township sometime last week.

A pressure washer, memory foam box spring and mattress, copper pipe, and a safe are listed among the missing items.

More than $200 in damages to the door and windows was also reported due to the break-in.

Troopers say the victim is a 30 -year-old Summerville man.

The investigation is ongoing.
