CLEARFIELD – More information is available about an incident that closed down a road in Clearfield.
According to police, on Tuesday, they were investigating drug violations at a Turnpike Avenue address. With a search warrant in hand the occupant, 52 year-old Stephen McLaughlin, allegedly barricaded himself inside the home and ignored officers commands.
After multiple hours, police were able to get McLaughlin to come out and into custody. Police noted that three firearms were secured from the home.
