HARRISBURG – If you have one of those faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plates you will soon have an opportunity to replace it for free.
The Ridgway Police and Fire Departments are teaming up with local State Representative Mike Armanini for a license plate replacement event on July 18th in Ridgway.
If one or more numbers or letters on the plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.
The event will happen in the Ridgway Fire Company’s carnival lot on North Broad Street from 4 till 6pm on July 18th.
