UNDATED – As Trout fishing season approaches, a state program is allowing young anglers to fish in stocked trout waters.
To qualify you must have either a Mentored Youth Permit or Voluntary Youth License, be able to fish on your own, and all mentors must be within reasonable distance to fishing youth.
Everything kicks off at 8am on March 29th. You can find more information, including fishing locations on the state’s website.
