Mental Health Crisis Averted in Brookville.

BROOKVILLE – Brookville Police are thanking the community for their actions to help soothe and prevent a mental health crisis.

According to police, they received a call on May 13th about an individual suffering a mental health crisis near SR0322. Once on scene, police alongside several community members were able to stop and treat the man who was thinking he was on fire and was thrashing and rolling on the ground. The man was then safely transported to a medical facility.

Brookville Police would like to take the time to thank everyone who helped a person in desperate need of medical treatment, serving as an “example of the awesome community we have.”
