DuBois – Today is Memorial Day, 2022.
Many ceremonies of honor and remembrance are taking place in our local communities.
This morning in DuBois, the VFW Post 813 presents a Memorial Day service at St. Catherine’s of Siena Cemetery at 9am.
The American Legion Post 17 of DuBois will have its annual Memorial Day observance and program at Morningside Cemetery in Sandy Township at 11am.
Both services will be broadcast live on Connect FM.
At Treasure Lake, the new Veterans Memorial will be dedicated as part of a special ceremony today at 1pm.
The memorial is located directly across Bay Road from the Lakeview Lodge parking lot.
