Clearfield, PA – As senior citizens are particularly at risk for COVID-19, the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging is still providing advice and services to older residents who need it.
They are still delivering Meals on Wheels. Not only does this provide local seniors with a nutritious meal each day, but volunteers and drivers can check in with senior they deliver to and make sure they are staying safe and healthy during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can do your part by checking in on a friend, neighbor, or family member and see if they need anything.
A quick phone call can also make a big difference for someone who is feeling isolated.
Do you or a family member need a nutritious meal? You’re encouraged to contact the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging at 814-765-2696.
Centers for Active Living in Clearfield County are closed for the time being. CCAAA employees are not allowing people in the office, but they are taking phone calls.
