Man threatens firefighter for blocking road near traffic accident in Summerville

Summerville, PA – A Summerville man allegedly threatened a firefighter who was blocking the road for a serious traffic accident recently.

46-year-old Kenneth Peace had reportedly been stopped around 6:20 p.m. on Friday on Route 28 as emergency crews had closed down the road to respond to a serious crash.

Peace became upset with firefighters who were working at the scene and attempted to drive onto the closed road.

He allegedly got into a verbal altercation with one of the firefighters, an 18-year-old man from Summerville, and threatened him with bodily harm before he left the scene.

Peace is being charged with harassment and threatening physical contact.
