RIDGWAY – A Ridgway man is behind bars after a fist fight hospitalized another man.
On July 16th police responded to a Ridgway residence for reports of a physical altercation.
Once on scene, police learned that 38 year-old Joel Hodgdon allegedly got into a fist fight with another man, who told authorities he did not want to press charges.
The victim was transported to Penn Highlands Elk where he was treated for a brain bleed, collapsed lung, and fractured rib.
Hodgdon is now facing felony aggravated assault, he is now at the Elk County Jail.
