DUBOIS – A DuBois man is facing insurance fraud charges after allegedly submitting a false insurance claim earlier in the year.
According to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, 46 year-old Corey Bloom reinstated his Geico insurance coverage on June 9th 2025. He then allegedly filed a claim with the company reporting a tree fell on his vehicle on June 12th.
Investigation revealed the damage likely occurred prior to when the report stated.
He later allegedly admitted to the false claim, he is now facing felony insurance fraud charges.
