CLEARFIELD – One man is behind bars after allegedly walking around an apartment complex with a knife while being under the influence of drugs.
According to police, on Monday at around 1:48am crews were dispatched to an apartment complex on South 2nd street after receiving reports of a man outside the door with a knife in his hand.
Once on scene officers identified the man as 45 year-old Vaughn Humberson of Irvona Pennsylvania, who was also wanted on several warrants. Police were able to recover the knife and determine that Humberson was allegedly under the influence of methamphetamines.
He was then taken to the Clearfield County Jail on the warrants and also faces other charges related to the incident.
