Cooper Township, PA – A man was arrested for attempting to steal a fishing license from H&B Hardware in Cooper Township on Tuesday.
20-year-old Charles Burnett from Morrisdale was stopped before trying to leave by store employees, but claimed he was going to his car to get money to pay for the license. He then left without paying.
He was also arrested ten days earlier for drug possession.
Just this morning, around 1:30 a.m., police say he also kicked in a door at the Best Travel Inn in Philipsburg, causing $150 worth of damage. Charges have also been filed in that case.
