DUBOIS – A DuBois man is facing harassment charges after allegedly making various threatening comments against the city’s former City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio.

According to police, in early August 40 year-old Justin Heffner made several social media comments and posts about the federal level investigation against the former City Manager.

The alleged threats include a Facebook post stating “Can someone just take him out?” and claiming “street justice”.

Police say that Suplizio has taken these threats seriously and claimed these comments are more than a statement.

When asked, Heffner admitted to posting them. He is now facing a misdemeanor charge of harassment, his preliminary hearing will be in the DuBois District Court Friday Morning at 10:30am.
