Man Accused of Threatening Family with Crossbow

GULICH TOWNSHIP – One man has been jailed after allegedly threatening to shoot multiple people with a crossbow.

On January 7th at around 1pm, police responded to a Veterans Street residence in Gulich Township where they made contact with the victim who told police that during an argument with her husband, 47 year-old Joshua Hardy, he threatened to shoot her, her son, and another person with a crossbow.

Police then entered the home and took Hardy into custody. They also say they found the crossbow and a glass smoking device with suspected marijuana inside.

He is now housed at the Clearfield County Jail.
