Man Accused of Pointing Gun at Troopers

MORRISDALE – A Morrisdale man is behind bars after troopers say he pointed a gun at them while responding to reports of a fight.

According to State Police at around 9:12pm on May 18th they responded to a Ireland Drive home after receiving a call with nobody on the other end but sounds of a fight in the background.

Once on scene, police learned that 28 year-old Jeremy Kessling was allegedly drunk and fighting with his father. When troopers checked with Kessling he allegedly pointed a semi-automatic gun at troopers.

After a brief struggle, including troopers deploying a taser, he was taken into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail facing aggravated assault and terroristic threats charges.
