CENTRE COUNTY – A man who was accused of trying to hire two men to kill a confidential informant will be spending up to 16 years in jail.
We previously reported that 63 year-old Mark Hackett and 45 year-old Amanda Zortman of Grampian allegedly attempted to hire someone to kill an informant in Hackett’s incarceration.
After pleading guilty to his initial drug charges and solicitation of murder he was sentenced to spend between 8 and 16 years in jail.
Zortman has not been sentenced at this time.
