DUBOIS – The Make-A-Wish Light Up a Child’s Life Campaign raised $119,350 dollars over five days, granting 23 wishes for children in our area.
Regional manager for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Lacy Bair, tells us that this accomplishment would not be possible without the community’s support.
“This community blows me away, the clubs, the businesses, the sponsors, the radio station, the schools. I know I’m forgetting people, but everybody, I am blown away every year by the support for Make-A-Wish,” explained Bair. It’s just such a wonderful community. I just can’t thank you guys enough”.
This annual fundraiser brings together residents, schools, clubs, and organizations to help provide these life changing for children aged 2 ½ to 18 facing chronic illnesses.
