Gaskill Township, PA – A Mahaffey woman is recovering from serious injuries after striking a telephone pole earlier this month while under the influence.
58-year-old Susie Benitez-Daou had been driving too fast along Route 36 in Gaskill Township, Jefferson County on Oct. 5.
She went off the road and struck a telephone pole.
Police say she had not been wearing a seat belt, was under the influence, and sustained serious injuries.
