Mahaffey woman identified in Oklahoma-Salem Rd crash

DUBOIS— A possible case of homicide by vehicle is being investigated after a woman died in a two-vehicle crash on the Oklahoma-Salem Road near DuBois Thursday.

State Police say 87-year-old Lois Johnson from Mahaffey was killed when the vehicle she was riding in was struck head-on. Johnson died from her injuries at Penn Highlands DuBois.

The names of others involved in the accident have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
