DUBOIS — If new charges are filed against suspended City of DuBois Manager Herm Suplizio, a magisterial district judge has been assigned to hear them.

The Clearfield County Court Administration Office reports that Centre County’s Senior Magisterial District Judge Carmine Prestia Jr will preside over any future hearings involving Suplizio.

A month ago, DuBois District Judge David Meholick recused himself from hearings related to the case against Suplizio.

Five felony theft charges and multiple fraudulent transaction charges have already been filed against Suplizio, and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office says additional charges are likely to be filed by October 6th.
