Luthersburg Man Sentenced to State Prison

LUTHERSBURG – A Luthersburg man will be spending at least five years in state prison after pleading guilty in a fatal DUI crash.

According to court documents, 29 year-old Chicgo Callender was driving while under the influence of methamphetamines on May 17th 2024, driving at speeds over 80 miles an hour on the Rocky Mountain Highway.

He then allegedly hit a deer, causing a second vehicle to crash into his passenger side, killing 56 year-old Llewelyn Brown.

Now, he has been sentenced to spend between five and ten years in state prison with 12 months of probation.
