LUTHERSBURG – A Luthersburg man is now facing charges for allegedly stealing a vehicle in 2024.
According to police, a man left his 2010 Ford Focus at a friend’s house in January of 2024 to work on it. In late November the man told his friend he was coming to work on the car when he was told it had been gone since July and assumed that he picked it up.
Police records showed that a State Police officer pulled over 52 year-old Jeffery McClure on July 3rd while towing the vehicle on a trailer.
Since learning about the connection police have attempted to contact McClure at no avail. He is now facing multiple charges including felony theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal trespassing.
