HomeLocal NewsLocal gas prices have leveled off as prices increase around the countryLocal gas prices have leveled off as prices increase around the countryWed, October 5, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Undated – Gas prices have leveled off in the Tri-County area and are beginning to rise again in parts of the country.The latest GasBuddy survey of more than 5,200 stations in Pennsylvania shows the average statewide price at $3.76 per gallon.That is also the average price of gas in Jefferson County.Clearfield County drivers are paying a little bit more with the average now at $3.79 per gallon.In the DuBois area, the average per gallon price of gas is $3.67; and in Brookville $3.65 per gallon is the average price this week.Compared to the first week of October 2020, gas prices in Pennsylvania are $1.27 per gallon higher.
