Local gas prices have leveled off as prices increase around the country

Undated – Gas prices have leveled off in the Tri-County area and are beginning to rise again in parts of the country.

The latest GasBuddy survey of more than 5,200 stations in Pennsylvania shows the average statewide price at $3.76 per gallon.

That is also the average price of gas in Jefferson County.

Clearfield County drivers are paying a little bit more with the average now at $3.79 per gallon.

In the DuBois area, the average per gallon price of gas is $3.67; and in Brookville $3.65 per gallon is the average price this week.

Compared to the first week of October 2020, gas prices in Pennsylvania are $1.27 per gallon higher.
