HomeFeel-Good/EventsLocal fire stations to compete for Fireman’s WeekLocal fire stations to compete for Fireman’s WeekTue, June 14, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW DuBois, PA – It’s Fireman’s Week in the City of DuBois with a majority of our local fire stations competing in some friendly competition.Today’s Battle of the Barrel will be held at the DuBois High School at 6:30pm tonight as each hose house will fill their barrel and move it up the rope.Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be the fan-favorite Sink the Tub Competition followed by Thursday’s Standing Pump Competition.Also this week, you can vote for your favorite local firefighters in 2022’s Firefighter of the Year Contest.You can vote once per day HERE Voting closes this Sunday, June 19th at midnight.
