DUBOIS – A local manufacturing plant is celebrating 10 years of operation in the DuBois area.
Danone North America, located at Oklahoma Salem Road, is the only plant based yogurt plant in the United States, shipping their products across the country and into parts of Canada.
The plant makes plenty of products seen on store shelves, yogurts like Silk, Dairy Free, So Delicious, and Harmless Harvest.
According to Plant Director Travis Stanton the DuBois plant prides itself on allergen containment for the plethora of coconut, almond, and soy products that many enjoy in their foods
.With a current 133 employees, 10 years makes quite the milestone for the local manufacturer facility.
“In the year that I’ve been here, it’s been very good to join that community and support the community,“ explained Stanton. “The same way that the community supports us, so we really enjoy going out and spreading our name. A lot of people, even here locally, don’t realize what we do here at our DuBois facility. It’s very exciting to get out and promote our products and our brands to people here in the local community”
This Saturday, the plant will be closed so workers can bring their families and celebrate the milestone.
