BROCKWAY – A Charity floor hockey tournament to raise funds for area families dealing with cancer has raised a record amount this year.

This year, the Randy Carlson Memorial Tournament raised a record $10,000 dollars for Kelsey Matchock, who was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.

We spoke to Matchock, who’s husband and father both play on area floor hockey teams, where she told us she has been in remission since January and is currently working on the grueling process of returning to a normal sense of self.

The Randy Carlson Memorial Tournament is held annually in remembrance of XHL player Randy Carlson, who passed away from melanoma in 2004.
