Harrisburg – If you have one of those faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plates you have two upcoming opportunities to replace it for free.
The Ridgway Police and Fire Departments as well as DuBois and Sandy Township Police Departments are teaming up with local State Representative Mike Armanini for a pair of license plate replacement events –Monday, July 18th, and Wednesday, July 20th.
If one or more numbers or letters on the plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.
The Ridgway event will happen in the Ridgway Fire Company’s carnival lot on North Broad Street from 4 till 6pm on July 18th.
The DuBois event will be Wednesday, July 20th in the parking lot of the DuBois Area Plaza from 4 till 6pm.
