PUNXSUTAWNEY – Today is the first of two opportunities in August for Jefferson County vehicle owners to get their faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plate replaced for free.
State Representative Brian Smith is teaming up with local law enforcement for two license plate replacement events – today in Brookville, and Monday, August 15th in Punxsutawney. If one or more numbers or letters on your plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.
Today’s event will take place at the Brookville Borough Complex on Western Avenue from 4 till 6pm.
The Punxsutawney event on the 15th will be at the Punxsutawney Borough Complex on East Mahoning Street from 4 till 6pm.
