License plate replacement event held in Punxsutawney on Monday

Punxsutawney – Monday will be another opportunity for Jefferson County vehicle owners to get their faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plate replaced for free.

State Representative Brian Smith is teaming up with local law enforcement for a license plate replacement event in Punxsutawney.

If one or more numbers or letters on your plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.

Monday’s event will take place at the Punxsutawney Borough Complex on East Mahoning Street from 4 till 6pm.
