UNDATED – A new piece of legislation, introduced partially by Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson, would expand veteran’s access to breast cancer screenings.
The Mammography Access for Veterans Act, would expand how veterans can get breast cancer screenings through the Department of Veterans Affairs, and would authorize telehealth or telescreening for those living in rural areas.
This legislation has been given support by multiple veteran’s advocacy groups.
