UNDATED – Leaf colors are now changing, with some areas hitting peak levels.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the recent drop in temperature has led to a rapid transition in leaf colors statewide.
In Clearfield County, leaf colors have hit their best color with a vibrant display of yellows, reds, and oranges.
Jefferson and Elk Counties are still approaching their peak changes.
