SHARE NOW

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County’s Lawrence Township is having a slow start to its search for a new township manager.

At this week’s meeting, Lawrence Township’s board of supervisors learned that only one application has been received so far for the position that has been advertised for a month.

The supervisors voted to offer the lone applicant an interview opportunity, and then to discuss whether they will resubmit the ad.

Assistant Clearfield Regional Police Chief Julie Curry also reported to the supervisors that she is working on a grant application to help fund an expansion the police department’s portion of the township building.

Curry also submitted a copy of the 2024 police department budget which will be reviewed and considered as the township sets its spending plan for next year.
