Knox woman injured after crashing into tree, embankment, then another tree

Beaver Township, PA – A Knox woman lost control of her pickup truck in Clarion County, striking a tree, then backing up and striking an embankment, then moving forward and striking another tree.

State Police in Clarion say 29-year-old Tiffany Stitt from Knox had been driving at an unsafe speed along Coulter Road in Beaver Township, close to Knox, around midnight early Monday morning.

She lost control of her Chevy Silverado for unknown reasons, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

Following that impact, police say the truck was driven backwards and struck an embankment.

Then the vehicle was driven forward again, impacting another tree.

Stitt suffered injuries of unknown severity and was taken to Clarion Hospital.

Police say that impairment is suspected, but no charges have been filed yet.
