Knox man charged with assaulting woman, holding her against her will

Winslow Township, PA – A Knox man is in jail after a woman was allegedly assaulted and held against her will.

State Police in DuBois responded to reports of a domestic incident at a home on Yellow Brick Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

They say they discovered the unnamed victim had been assaulted and held against her wishes by 36-year-old Michael Siple.

Siple faces charges of aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, strangulation, simple assault, and harassment.

He’s being held in Jefferson County Jail awaiting arraignment.
