KERSEY – The victim of a deadly Tuesday morning fire in Kersey has been identified.
Just after 6am Tuesday morning, crews received reports of a residential fire at a Chicken Hill address.
Once on scene, crews were able to extract one person, now identified as 63 year-old Jamie Yeager, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities currently believe the cause of death to be from smoke inhalation.
The investigation continues into the cause of the blaze.
