Jury finds Clearfield County man innocent of theft charges

Clearfield – A jury found a Clearfield County man innocent of theft charges after deliberating only about 45 minutes Wednesday.

According to court documents, Michael Fyock of Coalport had been accused of stealing $6,000 from a business in June 2020.

A business owner testified that he believed Fyock took the money from a desk drawer while he was playing a skills game at the Coalport business.

The owner did not report the alleged theft for two months, claiming he was giving Fyock a chance to return the money.
