Judge assigned to hear case against DuBois City Manager

DUBOIS – A judge has been assigned to hear the fraudulent transactions case against DuBois City Manager Herm Suplizio.

According to the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, Senior Judge Charles Saylor of Sunbury will preside over the Suplizio case.

While it is known who the judge will be, the next court date has not yet been determined.

Suplizio is facing charges of committing more than $600,000 in fraudulent transactions using accounts connected with the City of DuBois, the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department, and the DuBois Area United Way.

He is currently on paid administrative leave.
