BROCKWAY – Animal cruelty and neglect charges have been filed against a 55-year-old Jefferson County woman.
State Police say Kelly Wright of Brockway is accused of neglecting horses, donkeys, and dogs and leaving them in deplorable conditions on her property last fall. One of the donkeys had to be euthanized. Wright is facing a total of 89 animal cruelty and neglect charges, including one felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals.
The preliminary hearing for Wright is scheduled for May 31st.
