Jefferson County Woman Charged for Egging, Punching Man

REYNOLDSVILLE – A Jefferson County woman is facing assault and harassment charges for allegedly throwing eggs at a man, and then punching him in the face.

According to court documents, 32-year-old Tania Butler of Reynoldsville went to the State Police to report a domestic dispute. After an investigation, troopers determined that Butler turned a verbal argument into a physical dispute when she threw two cartons of eggs at the victim, and then proceeded to punch him in the face multiple times.

Following Butler’s arraignment, she was released on $5,000 bail.

Butler’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday).
