BROCKWAY – A 72-year-old Brockway man may be the victim of a nearly $40,000 theft.
According to a State Police investigation report, work was completed on a house in Snyder Township, Jefferson County that had been damaged by fire.
Three checks, which total $39,700, were reportedly written to pay for the services provided over the past seven months.
Troopers say they are continuing to investigate the case as a theft of services. Charges have not yet been filed.
