Jefferson County Stormwater Upgrades Incoming

JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Centre County Conservation District, Sykesville Borough, and Corsica Borough will soon be getting millions of dollars to go towards stormwater infrastructure upgrades.

Last Wednesday, The Centre County Conservation District was approved for $1.5 million dollars for The Hall Farm, negating manure runoff.

In Sykesville, $3.6 million dollars will be used to replace and install around one and a half miles of stormwater pipes. 

In Corsica Borough $450,000 dollars was approved for School, Water, and Pine Streets stormwater pipe relining, affecting almost 200 homes.

These funds were made possible by the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority.
