DUBOIS – A Jefferson County man will stand trial in Clearfield County Court on various drug possession charges.

DuBois City Police filed multiple charges against 36-year-old Justin Salada of Reynoldsville.

Police say Salada was found slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle as it was parked at a convenience store gas pump in DuBois earlier this year.

After a search warrant was obtained, 65 stamp bags of heroin and a bag containing methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia was found in Salada’s vehicle.

A 35-year-old Ridgway woman, Tiffanie Kurtz, was in the back seat of the vehicle, and she allegedly admitted to using heroin that day, and told police that 20 stamp bags of the drug were in the car.

A preliminary hearing was held for Salada last week, and his bail was set at $15,000.

Kurtz is scheduled for her preliminary hearing this Friday.
